An unfortunate car accident left two people severely injured and another mildly injured, on Butler Street in Wilson Borough, Easton on Monday December 26, 2016. Witnesses say the vehicle was speeding before hitting a curb and flipping the car. The seriously injured passengers are both men, ages 18 and 25. Both men had to be freed by firefighters and transported to St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem. The firefighters did an outstanding job of manipulating the car in order to get the two injured men out. Speeding and reckless driving cause far too many personal injuries and wrongful deaths in the Lehigh Valley. Please call the car accident attorneys at the Trapani Law Firm if you need any advice regarding a personal injury matter.
An unfortunate car accident took place on Monday morning, December 26, 2016 on Route 33 at the William Penn Highway interchange in Bethlehem. At least one person was trapped in the automobile according to Northampton County authorities. EMS and Pennsylvania State Police arrived to scene of the car accident but it is not immediately clear if anyone was injured. We ask all of our friends to please drive cautiously during this winter season.

On December 20, 2016 a three-car crash tied up Sullivan Trail and Knox Avenue in Easton, Pa. A truck pulling a utility trailer lost control and struck the concrete barriers located on the side of the road. The utility trailer remained in the street and was hit by a sedan going south on Knox Ave, Easton. A third automobile crashed into the sedan causing major delays. Luckily, there were no severe injuries as a result of this car accident. The attorneys at the Trapani Law Firm would ask that our friends pay close attention while driving during this holiday season. Most of us don’t realize how important tractor-trailer highway safety is until it affects someone we know and love. The current laws in place restricting tractor-trailer truck length; weight and driver’s hours are slowly being eroded so that big business can increase their bottom line. This will ultimately lead to more car accidents caused by tractor-trailers and my fear at the Trapani Law Firm is that most if us will never realize what is taking place until a loved one is involved in a personal injury or wrongful death car accident here in the Lehigh Valley.
The trucking industry is currently objecting to requirements that truck drivers take a 34-hour break before starting a “a new work week,” with two periods of sleep from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. Sleep scientists insist that rest during these early morning periods is critical for drivers to recharge before they get back on the road. The personal injury attorneys at the Trapani Law Firm ask all our friends to remind their local politicians that strict highway safety laws are imperative in order to avoid tragic auto accidents in the Lehigh Valley. We hope that this message finds you well and that you will consider the safety of our roads in the future.
On Saturday, December 10, 2016, a distracted driver rear-ended a car driven by Matthew Khela, 27, on Route 248 in Palmer Township, Easton Pa. Khela, of Bangor, was the most seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to the hospital, along with Carly Boos, 27 and Joy Thomas, 30. Police cited the distracted driver who caused the accident with careless driving.
