Route 31 Car Accident Kills Easton Man

On March 28, 2017, Easton man, Steven Sharkey, suffered a wrongful death in a head on auto crash on Route 31 in Hunterdon County. The car accident closed both lanes of traffic on Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. State police confirmed that the car accident involved a Dodge Caravan and a Chevy Malibu. The drivers of both vehicles suffered serious personal injuries and were transported to area hospitals. Sadly, State police confirmed that Mr. Sharkey died from injuries suffered in the car accident. Bethlehem: Tractor-Trailer Truck Accident on Route 512

On March 27, 2017, a tractor-trailer accident knocked down power lines in Moore Township, north of Bethlehem Pa. Hundreds of properties in the area lost power because of the tractor-trailer crash. The truck accident occurred on Monday evening on Route 512. According to Northampton County 911 dispatch, there were no serious personal injures reported. Allentown: Motorcyclist Suffers Wrongful Death on Route 309

On March 25, 2017, Beher Raafat Eskander of Allentown was killed at the scene of an accident on Route 309 in Lehigh County. Sadly, the 24-year-old motorcyclist was riding south on Route 309 when his motorcycle crashed. The Lehigh Valley motorcycle accident took place around 12:45 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police are investigation the accident. Read more

Allentown: Car Crash Injures Woman on Priscilla Street

On March 23, 2017, a man fled Allentown police and crashed into another car on Priscilla Street in Allentown Pa. A woman suffered serious personal injuries and was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, according to Allentown police. An Allentown officer had approached a man after a phone call stating the man was passed out in his car. While the officer was speaking with the man, he suddenly took off and sped away. Crashing into the injured woman’s car a few blocks away. Allentown police are attempting to reconstruct this horrible car accident. Read more

Easton: Car Crashes Into Tractor-Trailer Truck

On March 22, 2017, a car crashed under a tractor-trailer on Tatamy Road outside Easton Pa. The car accident happened after 8:30 a.m. The car diver suffered personal injuries and was transported to the hospital. The tractor-trailer truck was on the way to the Amazon warehouse located one mile from the accident scene. Tatamy Road was closed for several hours due to the truck accident. Read more

Allentown: Car Accident Closes Route 309

On March 16, 2017, a vehicle flipped on Route 309 outside Allentown. It was not immediately clear if anyone suffered personal injuries as a result of the Lehigh Valley car accident. Route 309 South was shut down in Lower Macungie Township near Interstate 78 in Lehigh County, as reported by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The accident may have involved a trash truck. Route 309 traffic was forced to leave the highway at the Tilghman Street exit. Read more

Easton: Rollover Car Crash on Route 22

On March 17, 2017, a car accident took place on Route 22 near Easton Pa. It was not clear if anyone suffered personal injuries as a result of the rollover car crash. The right lane of Route 22 was closed as emergency personnel responded to the car crash. Allentown: Passenger in DUI Car Accident Suffers Personal Injuries

On March 6, 2017, a car crashed on Irving Street in Allentown, Pa. The driver of the vehicle was charged with a DUI. The passenger suffered several personal injuries, including a lacerated liver, a broken foot and a lacerated spleen. The passenger was transported to St. Luke’s University Hospital. Allentown police said a 1998 Mercury Sable crashed into a tree around 2:40 a.m. Due to the Allentown car accident, police have charged the driver with several criminal charges. Read more

Tractor-Trailer Trucking Company Plans to Move to Bethlehem

Another trucking company plans to open a tractor-trailer truck facility around Bethlehem, PA. The Canadian trucking company is diligencing sites along Brodhead Road and Route 309 in Bethlehem. The trucking company plans to hire 25 truck drivers in the next three months. Like many Lehigh Valley trucking companies, the central location and proximity to major interstates makes Bethlehem an attractive location for a trucking company. Read more

Allentown: Pedestrian Struck by Car on Hamilton Street

On March 3, 2017, a vehicle hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Hamilton and Front Streets in Allentown, PA. The 19-year-old victim was transported to the hospital after suffering several personal injuries. Allentown police are conducting an accident reconstruction investigation, which is currently in the preliminary stages. Read more

Easton: One Injured in Car Accident on I-78

On March 2, 2017, a car accident caused Dianne Odessa to be taken to the hospital for personal injuries. The two-vehicle crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. on I-78 in Easton, PA, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The Easton Emergency Squad took Ms. Odessa to St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem for treatment. Another car accident took place on Interstate 78, earlier in the day. Easton: Car Accident Slows Traffic on Interstate 78

On March 2, 2017, a vehicle crashed and overturned on the shoulder of Interstate 78 in Easton. The Northampton County shift supervisor confirmed that the driver go out of the vehicle after the crash. It was not immediately clear if any personal injuries were suffered. The car ended up on its roof. Traffic was slowed, as the right lane of I-78 was closed for a short period of time. Read more
