Pedestrian Killed on Route 611 in Easton Car Accident

Sadly, a pedestrian accident on Route 611 killed a man on September 28, 2017 north of Easton PA. The deceased suffered his wrongful death while attempting to cross Route 611 when he was struck by an SUV. Pennsylvania State Police reported to the scene of the Easton accident. The wrongful death accident took place around 10:18 a.m. on the 4800 block of the roadway, also known as South Delaware Drive. The victim was transported to Easton Hospital where he was pronounced dead by the Northampton County Coroner’s Office. The pedestrian accident closed Route 611 for several hours. Pennsylvania State police are continuing their investigation into the motor vehicle accident. Read more

I-78 Semi Truck Accident Kills Man

Sadly, a truck accident on Interstate-78 killed a 25-year-old man. The truck accident took place on I-78 traveling eastbound outside of Allentown PA on September 20, 2017. The deceased hit a disabled tractor-trailer semi truck according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s office. The victim was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, where he died of cervical spine personal injuries. Two people were trapped in the motor vehicle and were freed by the fire rescue crew. Interstate 78’s eastbound lanes were shut down until approximately 11:00 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police are continuing their investigation of this I-78 accident. Read more

Girl Killed in Easton Pedestrian Accident on Route 248

Sadly, a Route 248 car accident lead to the wrongful death of a young girl in Palmer Township near Easton PA. On September 22, 2017 a 12-year-old girl was struck by a motor vehicle around 8:00 p.m. on Route 248. The victim was taken by Suburban EMS to Easton Hospital, and then she was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office has yet to release the child’s name. An accident reconstruction and investigation is being conducted by the Palmer Township Police. It appears as though the victim was walking from the nearby Sheetz convenience store located on Route 248 in Easton PA. Read more

Interstate 78 Car Accident Injures One

On September 20, 2017, an I-78 car accident left one person with serious personal injuries, just west of Allentown PA. The accident took place around 5:50 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 78 near Allentown. Two people were trapped in a car after the auto accident. One of the victims was transported by Cetronia Ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. All Interstate 78 lanes were shut down and traffic was detoured off I-78 at Exit 40. Read more

Easton Trash Truck Accident on Route 33

On September 19, 2017, an Easton car accident took place on Route 33 involving a trash truck. Around 7:40 a.m. two cars collided in front of a trash truck, which veered into a median in order to avoid a more serious motor vehicle accident. One male suffered personal injuries as a result of the Easton auto accident. Traffic moved slowly as one lane was restricted due to the trash truck blocking the other lane. Read more

Allentown Sinkhole Closes Chew Street

On September 11, 2017, an Allentown sinkhole closed Chew Street, according to scanner reports. Chew Street was closed between Church Street and Seventh Street to work on the Allentown sinkhole. No car accidents have been reported due to the sinkhole and traffic has since been restored. It appears as though the sinkhole was related to an older water pipe. The city of Allentown did a great job of repairing this sinkhole danger without anyone suffering an injury. Read more

Allentown Motorcycle SUV Accident on Route 309

On September 9, 2017, an Allentown vehicle accident took place on Route 309 at the intersection of Fairmount Street. The Lehigh Valley crash took place on Saturday afternoon around 1:00 p.m., shutting down the southbound lane of the highway for several hours. There is no word on how many people suffered personal injuries as a result of the Allentown motorcycle accident. Read more

Allentown Car Accident on Interstate 78 Injures Three

On September 6, 2017, an Allentown car accident sent three people to a Lehigh Valley Hospital. On Wednesday afternoon a commercial vehicle crashed into a median on I-78 in Allentown PA around mile marker 58.6. According to Pennsylvania State Police, five cars traveling in the other direction were impacted by the I-78 accident. Allentown’s EMS, as well as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation assisted at the scene, along with the Pennsylvania State Police. Thankfully, the personal injuries suffered as a result of this Allentown accident are non-life-threatening injuries. Read more

Allentown Car Accident on I-78 Injures Nine People

On September 4, 2017, an I-78 car accident caused nine people in an SUV to suffer personal injuries in Allentown PA. A Ford Fusion crashed into a Chevrolet Traverse around 1:45 p.m. near mile marker 50.7, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The passengers of the SUV were transported to Lehigh valley Hospital with personal injuries. All of the injured passengers are Bayonne residents. One person was partially ejected from the SUV. Woman Killed in Allentown Car Accident on Range Road

Sadly, on September 1, 2017 a Whitehall car accident caused the wrongful death of an 87-year-old Whitehall Township resident near Allentown PA. According to the Lehigh County coroner’s office, the Allentown car accident took place on the 2600 block of Range Road. The 87-year-old woman was a passenger in one of the automobiles. She was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. Additional personal injuries were reported as a result of the Allentown auto accident.
