The victims were identified as 21-year-old man from Chicora, the 19-year-old driver from Butler; and another passenger – 17-year-old man from Butler. All of them were pronounced dead at the scene. Two of them were cousins.
Police noted that none of the victims were wearing seat belts. The accident report did not specify whether speed played a role in the crash.
The investigation is still ongoing.
