ALLENTOWN: Woman Charged in Car Crash
A Bucks County woman has been charged due to an Allentown car accident that killed Christina Watkins-Rivera and Yartezi Ramos on January 3, 2017. Watkins-Rivera, an Allentown resident, and her granddaughter, Yartezi Ramos, suffered wrongful deaths due to the accident on South Fourth Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The driver who is responsible for the accident has been charged with two counts of homicide by vehicle and involuntary manslaughter, and six counts of recklessly endangering another person. Warminster police arrested the Bucks County driver on January 19, 2017. Authorities say she will be transported to the Lehigh County Jail on January 20th. Watkins-Rivera’s other two grandchildren sustained personal injuries in the Allentown car accident, as well. Thankfully, they have been discharged from the hospital.
