Bethlehem Car Accident Damages PPL Utility Pole
A Bethlehem car accident caused damage to a PPL electric utility pole on East Boulevard in Bethlehem on March 21, 2018. An SUV crashed into the pole around 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of East Blvd. and Lansdale Avenue. Bethlehem Police responded to the car accident. PPL electric Utilities reported that power was out at over 130 Bethlehem homes following the Bethlehem car accident. Fortunately, there were no personal injuries reported. PPL said power should be restored to their customers later in the evening. There are no reports of fallen power lines.
