An Allentown car accident caused serious personal injuries to two pedestrians on Seventh Street and Allen Street on February 20, 2018. An SUV struck two pedestrians at the intersection, and fled. A 55-year-old woman suffered personal injuries to her pelvis and head trauma. Additionally, a man in his 20s sustained personal injuries to his legs. Both victims were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest Boulevard. Allentown Police are continuing their investigation of this personal injury accident.

A Lehigh Valley personal injury car accident occurred on highway I-78 on February 17, 2018. Multiple cars crashed into one another on Interstate 78 West near the Lehigh County boarder around 5:00 p.m. Due to winter conditions, the highway speed limits were reduced to 45 mph. Traffic was backed up on I-78 after the Lehigh Valley car accident. Snow rates were recorded at about one inch per hour this evening. Multiple vehicles had rolled over and it is not immediately known if any personal injuries resulted from the I-78 car accident.

A serious car accident sent one passenger to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest in Allentown PA and the driver to St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem due to personal injuries on February 1, 2018. Additionally, a man and his dog were killed in the head-on car accident. A 57-year-old woman was airlifted in critical condition to St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill, while a 65-year-old man was transported by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital. His personal injuries were also very serious.

An Allentown tractor-trailer accident left a semi truck ablaze on Interstate 78 near the Route 22 merge on January 5, 2018. According to a Lehigh County emergency dispatcher there were no severe personal injuries. I-78 traffic got by on the far let lane, although the Interstate was stopped eastbound as emergency personnel arrived to the scene of the Allentown truck accident. The fire was put out and I-78 was cleared by mid afternoon.
