An Allentown personal injury motorcycle accident took place on Route 145 on May 7, 2018. A motorcyclist and passenger suffered serious personal injuries on Route 145 in Lehigh Township when their motorcycle collided with a car. The motorcycle turned off Route 248 around 7:00 p.m. and crashed with a car on Route 145. The motorcyclist and his female passenger suffered broken bones, and severe personal injury. They were transported by helicopter to St. Luke’s University Hospital – Fountain Hill, in critical condition. Fire police shut down Route 145 between Route 248 and Alder Drive while paramedics attended to the injured and township police conducted their motorcycle accident investigation. Route 145 was reopened around 11:00 p.m. that night.
A Lehigh Valley motor vehicle accident led to the personal injuries of a motorcyclist at Lehigh and Walnut Drive on January 22, 2018. The Lehigh Valley car accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. when a motorcycle and car crashed into each other in front of the Pennsville Hotel Tavern in Lehigh Township, PA. The motorcyclist suffered serious personal injuries and was transported to the hospital via ambulance. A second ambulance was sent for a woman suffering neck pain. The Easton couple was driving south on the 1600 block of Bushkill Drive near Arndt Road when they struck a deer. Both motorcycle riders were transported to St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill, Bethlehem. Because deer rutting season has begun across Pennsylvania, deer are more likely to wander more than any other season.
Sadly, A 22-year-old man suffered personal injuries as a result of a motorcycle accident on October 10, 2017 at the intersection of Schantz Road and Farmington Road in Upper Macungie Township, west of Allentown. The motorcyclist was taken by Cetronia Ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital at Cedar Crest Boulevard in Allentown PA. The crash took place when an SUV collided with the motorcycle on Schantz Road on Tuesday afternoon. The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike into a utility pole. The young man is in serious condition due to personal injuries suffered as a result of the motorcycle accident. Upper Macungie Township Police are investigating the crash.
On September 9, 2017, an Allentown vehicle accident took place on Route 309 at the intersection of Fairmount Street. The Lehigh Valley crash took place on Saturday afternoon around 1:00 p.m., shutting down the southbound lane of the highway for several hours. There is no word on how many people suffered personal injuries as a result of the Allentown motorcycle accident.
Sadly, on July 30, 2017, Yvonne Rohrbach suffered her wrongful death in a fatal accident west of Allentown PA. Ms. Rohrbach was the passenger on a motorcycle driving on Route 222 near Mill Creek Road in Upper Macungie Township. The Lehigh County Coroner pronounced Yvonne’s death at 12:23 am. The coroner’s office is still looking for her relatives. Anyone who knows her family members should contact the Coroner’s office. Ms. Rohrbach is a Hamburg resident. According to authorities, the fatal motorcycle accident is still under investigation.
On May 8, 2017, an Allentown Motorcycle Accident injured Kellsie Demkovitz and Joshua Glass on Route 309. Glass was driving his motorcycle on Route 309 when he collided with a car leaving the Orefield Middle School. Kellsie Demovitz, a passenger on the motorcycle, and Glass were transported by Ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. Sadly, Glass’s personal injuries are life threatening and Demkovitz suffered serious personal injuries, as well.
On April 14, 2017, a motorcycle accident caused the wrongful death of Kevin Letterhouse and personal injuries to Pamela Kellow. The motorcycle accident took place in Lehigh Township when an SUV collided with a motorcycle driven by Letterhouse at the intersection of Cherryville Road and Locust Drive. Pamela Kellow was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pa. Sadly, the Northampton County Coroner pronounced Letterhouse dead at the scene of the motorcycle accident. The Lehigh Township police are continuing their investigation.
On April 11, 2017, Carlos Hernandez suffered a wrongful death in a motorcycle accident. An Allentown resident, Hernandez was riding his motorcycle at the intersection of State Street and Lyons Road in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania State Police said Hernandez was hit by a motor vehicle attempting a left hand turn. Sadly, Hernandez was thrown off his motorcycle and suffered an abrupt wrongful death, as he was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The intersection was closed for about four hours after the motorcycle accident. The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
On March 25, 2017, Beher Raafat Eskander of Allentown was killed at the scene of an accident on Route 309 in Lehigh County. Sadly, the 24-year-old motorcyclist was riding south on Route 309 when his motorcycle crashed. The Lehigh Valley motorcycle accident took place around 12:45 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police are investigation the accident.
