Motorcycle Accident Causes Personal Injury Near Allentown on Route 145
An Allentown personal injury motorcycle accident took place on Route 145 on May 7, 2018. A motorcyclist and passenger suffered serious personal injuries on Route 145 in Lehigh Township when their motorcycle collided with a car. The motorcycle turned off Route 248 around 7:00 p.m. and crashed with a car on Route 145. The motorcyclist and his female passenger suffered broken bones, and severe personal injury. They were transported by helicopter to St. Luke’s University Hospital – Fountain Hill, in critical condition. Fire police shut down Route 145 between Route 248 and Alder Drive while paramedics attended to the injured and township police conducted their motorcycle accident investigation. Route 145 was reopened around 11:00 p.m. that night.
