Andrew McCollin of Bright Horizon Family Solutions has been charged with indecent assault of a child. McCollin was arrested on Aug. 30, 2019 after a 4-year-old told investigators McCollin has repeatedly touched him inappropriately according to the Berks County Prosecutor’s Office. Now, a 5-year-old boy at the same Reading day care reported similar molestation. Reading Police are looking for more potential victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Berks County District Attorney Detectives.
A Berks County train accident caused the Pennsylvania wrongful death of a driver when her SUV was struck by a Norfolk Southern train on August 22, 2019. The Reading wrongful death train accident took place at Krick Lane near Penn Avenue in South Heidelberg PA. The diver’s SUV was pushed about a half mile before it was pinned between another train. A Reading wrongful death motorcycle accident took place on Route 73 Philadelphia Avenue near Boyertown PA on July 4, 2019. The motorcycle driver suffered serious personal injuries and sadly, the passenger suffered her wrongful death as a result of the Berks County motorcycle accident. Both injured victims were transported to the Reading Hospital where the Berks County Coroner pronounced the passenger’s wrongful death. An Interstate 78 car accident accident caused the Pennsylvania wrongful death of two individuals on June 29, 2019. The I-78 wrongful death accident took place near the Berks County and Lehigh County boarder around 3:30 a.m. in Greenwich Township PA, west of Allentown PA. The Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene of the I-78 personal injury car accident. Additionally, the Berks County coroner was called to the Interstate 78 wrongful death accident scene. The PA state police are conducting a Pennsylvania wrongful death investigation into the I-78 accident. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) all lanes in both directions of highway I-78 remained closed between Exit 40 (PA Route 737) near Reading PA and Exit 45 (PA Route 863) near Lehigh Valley PA.
An I-78 wrongful death car accident took place on Route 183 near the I-78 ramp in Berks County on June 3, 2019. The driver suffered his Pennsylvania wrongful death and the passenger is suffering severe personal injury. The deceased was 89-years-old and his passenger is 86-years-old. Both the driver and passenger were transported to Reading Hospital. Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene of the Reading wrongful death accident. The vehicles collided head on, around 2:00 p.m., on Route 183 near the I-78 on-ramp. Route 183 was closed for several hours while Pennsylvania State Troopers conducted a Reading car accident investigation.
A Reading PA wrongful death car accident took place on I-176 just north of Shiloh Road in Caernarvon Township on May 26, 2019.
