Reading Bright Horizon Family Solutions Andrew McCollin

Andrew McCollin of Bright Horizon Family Solutions has been charged with indecent assault of a child. McCollin was arrested on Aug. 30, 2019 after a 4-year-old told investigators McCollin has repeatedly touched him inappropriately according to the Berks County Prosecutor’s Office. Now, a 5-year-old boy at the same Reading day care reported similar molestation. Reading Police are looking for more potential victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Berks County District Attorney Detectives.

Michigan State Gymnastics Physician Accused of Sexual Assault

The Michigan Attorney General has charged Larry Nassar with 22 counts of sexual assault. Nasser is a former gymnastics physician at Michigan State University. Moreover, Nassar served as the USA Gymnastics physician in four Olympic competitions. The current charges allege that Nassar sexually abused young female gymnasts under the guise of medical treatment in the MSU sports medicine clinic and Twistars Gymnastics Club. Sadly, two of the victims are under 13 years old. Further, seven are between the ages of 13 and 16. The Attorney General has instructed his team to seek the highest possible sentence, which could be life in prison. Nassar is accused of sexually abusing female athletes from the late 1990s through 2016. A current civil lawsuit claims that Michigan State was negligent in allowing the sexual abuse to occur and that MSU kept Nassar on its staff after at least three patients had filed complaints about his conduct.
