DRIVER INJURED IN DOWNTOWN EASTON CAR ACCIDENT

One driver was injured after a car accident occurred on Third Street in Easton on January 2, 2017. The accident took place while it was raining heavily. Additionally, the injured driver climbed onto an Easton Emergency Squad litter with some help, and was transported to Easton hospital for treatment. The collision pushed a pickup truck into a limousine van stopped at a light on Bushkill Street. Easton Police directed traffic on Third Street as automobiles backed up in all directions.
