On February 8, 2017, Zakaiyah Halley was killed while crossing Route 248 near the Palmer Mall in Easton PA. The Northampton County Coroner said Halley died of blunt force injuries due to a hit-and-run pedestrian accident. Sadly, Halley was pronounced dead at the scene. She was 18-years-old. A black Mazda 6 was impounded Thursday and several people were questioned as part of the investigation. The car had damage to the front right bumper.
