Girl Killed in Easton Pedestrian Accident on Route 248
Sadly, a Route 248 car accident lead to the wrongful death of a young girl in Palmer Township near Easton PA. On September 22, 2017 a 12-year-old girl was struck by a motor vehicle around 8:00 p.m. on Route 248. The victim was taken by Suburban EMS to Easton Hospital, and then she was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office has yet to release the child’s name. An accident reconstruction and investigation is being conducted by the Palmer Township Police. It appears as though the victim was walking from the nearby Sheetz convenience store located on Route 248 in Easton PA.
