LEHIGH VALLEY: One Killed in Car Accident Outside of Allentown
A Slatington area woman, Betty J. Peters, was pronounced dead after a single-car accident on January 18, 2017. The accident occurred on Levans Road, in Schnecksville, outside of Allentown, Pennsylvania. According to Pennsylvania State Police at Bethlehem, Peters was driving west on Levans Road when she lost control of her automobile on a right curve past Apple Road. At that point, her car left the road and crashed into a traffic sign, then a tree. The Lehigh County Coroner pronounced Betty Peters dead at the scene of the accident.
