A 52-year-old Catasauqua man was hospitalized at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem after being struck in a hit-and-run car accident in Northampton. The Pedestrian suffered serious personal injuries when he fell down a wooded embankment along the Lehigh River. Police do not have a description of the vehicle, they ask anyone who may have seen the car or has any information regarding the hit-and-run accident to please call the Northampton police. According to Easton police, a drunken driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed, causing serious personal injuries to his passenger. Police in the Lehigh Valley are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run auto accident on Thursday, December 28, 2016. The car crash took place around 7:00 a.m. on Hamilton Boulevard, Allentown. Police said a Dodge Durango struck Jeep Grand Cherokee then left the scene of the accident. The vehicle was last seen traveling on Hamilton Boulevard, Allentown. Luckily, no injuries were reported. This vehicle could be traveling anywhere in the Lehigh Valley. On Thursday, December 29, 2016 there were several auto accidents reported shortly after snow began to fall. Route 33 was under a weather restriction, where the speed limit was reduced to 45 mph. An unfortunate car accident left two people severely injured and another mildly injured, on Butler Street in Wilson Borough, Easton on Monday December 26, 2016.
