Route 22 Car Accident causes Allentown Wrongful Death
A 49-year-old man suffered his wrongful death in an Allentown car accident on Route 22 on June 19, 2018. The Phillipsburg man was killed in a car accident involving a dump truck on Route 22 around 2:20 p.m. The deceased was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest where he was pronounced dead by the Lehigh County Coroner. A car was crushed in the 3-vehicle collision. The Allentown car accident took place west of the Northeast Extension overpass. Route 22 East was closed near Route 309 while the Pennsylvania State Police investigated the Route 22 accident. All highway traffic lanes were opened around 8:00 p.m. The Lehigh County District Attorney is also investigating the Allentown car accident.
